Chardonnay

Perfumed and expressive on the nose, this Chardonnay shows hints of biscuit and nougat, backed by appealing florals. On the palate, it is graceful and silky, layered with flavors of jasmine tea, lychee, and ripe peach. It is balanced and ripe without being overdone, with a touch of oak adding creaminess while retaining the wine’s freshness and adding to a long finish.

Field Blend

With a dark garnet hue, this Field Blend shows rich blackberry jam with notes of licorice, black pepper and hints of cedar and beeswax on the nose. The wine’s flavors follow the heady aromas, expressing ripe blueberries and jammy blackberries with warm baking spices in the finish. A higher percentage of Petite Sirah in 2022 brings depth and suede-like tannins to the juicy fleshiness of Zinfandel in the blend. Very drinkable on release, this Field Blend will benefit from decanting and holds up well in the bottle once opened.

Robert's
Cabernet Franc

Each vintage, Robert’s Cabernet Franc expresses the intriguing and complex personality derived from the highest mountain vineyard blocks at Oakville Ranch. A smaller crop in 2015 favored concentrated flavors and mature tannins. This wine is dark and rich, with blackberry, licorice and plum aromas enhanced by underlying floral notes. On the palate, it is velvety in texture and mouth-filling, with hints of caramel and spice and concentrated black fruit flavors leading to a long finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon

The red volcanic soils of Oakville Ranch’s mountain vineyards produce Cabernet Sauvignon that speaks to its distinctive origins in a region legendary for this varietal. Crème de cassis, brambly berries and cedar are evident in the nose of the 2015 Cabernet, along with hints of violet and suede leather. On the palate this wine is graceful, ripe and juicy, with flavors of blueberry and dark chocolate backed by black pepper spice. The 2015 Cabernet is a graceful, rich and enjoyable wine, limited in production.
